A Word From Greer Sommer
Greer Sommer is a teaching artist who has been incorporating art as a healing mechanism since 1990. Her background combines mental health therapy, art teaching, curriculum planning, and group facilitation for wellness and healing. Greer blends both visual and literary art into her creations, calling them visual compositions, writing about the subjects contained within the composition. Greer has been a guest lecturer and speaker at the University of Washington, Seattle University, Washington State’s Department of Behavioral Health, and other public/private venues. Greer is currently working with Barnes and Noble, editing her second book, Let Your Hair Down: Freedom from
Trichotillomania (and hopes it will also benefit individuals suffering from PTSD, depression, and/or anxiety). Greer is also the author of An Infinite Web, a compilation of poetry and prose.

Art And The Drawing
For me, art is more than images on a page – it’s a language of the heart. Every drawing I create carries intention, emotion, and story. Through line, color, and texture, I explore healing, transformation, and the beauty of self-expression. I hope that each piece inspires others to pause, feel, and connect with their own creativity.
Popular Paintings Collection
My paintings are a reflection of both my inner world and the healing journey I share with others. Each piece carries intention, emotion, and story — blending color, texture, and meaning.
